With the constant prodding and encouraging words from her children prompted Ms. Maricel to enroll with the Barangay-Based Entrepreneurial Mentoring Program (BBEMP) of the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the Cebu City Government through the Cebu Investments Development Concierge Center (CIDCC) Project.
Armed with a newfound knowledge on food safety, good manufacturing practices, Ms. Maricel transformed her small eatery and barbeque business into a clean, presentable. “a go-to spot for barbeque experience along the bustling streets of Guadalupe.
Full of positivity and determination, the various training programs prepared Ms. Maricel to reboot, and reformat her business model and recover from the impact of the pandemic and future-proofed her small business.
